Valeria is a Peruvian-American filmmaker, producer, and actor based in Seattle. Although she has always loved stories and movies, her passion for films truly began after moving to Seattle five years ago. As she had always wanted to act, she began acting classes for the first time at Freehold Theatre, where she met her friends and future collaborators, Jules and Charles. Together, they created two award‑nominated 48‑hour films, both of which she produced. Valeria is committed to building diverse, collaborative teams and championing unique voices and stories. She hopes to see more Peruvian representation in the film world and to tell stories that honor her culture. She also loves the city she now calls home and aims to showcase more of Seattle’s beauty in her upcoming projects.
